The Lokta Plant

 

I bought this really cool sketchbooks Handcrafted in Nepal which promotes Fairs Trade and Woman Co-Operative, a charityt organization.  Have it by my kitchen nook and once in a while I will sit and do small doodles, and little sketches that come to my imagination etc...  The paper is hand made from a Lokta Plant.  Real interesting texture. Doesnt take pencil very well but ink does especially well.  I use the pencil to lay down the quick outline and ink to finsh it up.  Just wanted to share.
